Checkout Displays All Product Items

When I click on the cart, and it is empty, all the product items are displayed on the same page. There are supposed to be two pages, but all the product from both pages are displayed together broken in half by the page navigation.

Is there someway to fix this?

You need to enter the URL where you want the users to be redirected to in the "URL where to redirect when the cart is empty" option of the Checkout tab of the configuration.

Your solution worked. However it would be better to display the product, page-by-page correctly. Is there a way to do this?

Just enter in that option the URL of a hikashop products listing menu with its options setup to display the listing page by page (you can modulate that with the "number of items" option of the hikashop options screen of the menu/associated module).
