Short description code

Is there a way to put a length on the description to a product?

<?php
echo preg_replace('#<hr *id="system-readmore" */>.*#is','',$this->row->product_description);
?>

Trying to put a short description under the image in the products/listing_image_title section.

Thanks!

Hi Sonictech,

We must analyse the HTML to do that.
