Hello i need your help please i use the free edition and i want to have 10% discount to all my categories except one.
Is there any way to do it with the free edition?

I think that the Discount restrictions are just available in the business edition.

The restrictions of discount to categories is available in both the Essential and the Business edition.

You will have to create one discount for each category though.

i have the starter edition and i am trying to create my e-shop.
I am in my first steps so i did not need other edition until i learn how to use it.
is there a way to except by code only one category with id=73?

You would have to edit the code of the selectDiscount function in the file administrator/components/com_hikashop/classes/currency.php

Well it's not easy if you don't know programming. You need to load the categories of the product with a MySQL query to see if you can apply the discount or not.
Understand that we cannot spend time helping you develop something for free where that is already possible without any development in our commercial editions...
