add a product custom field option to product name

Hello,

how can I set to add choosen product custom field to the product name (the same as characteristic do). When my customer orders a product with a product custom field variant I cant see anywhere what did he choose. Neither my customer cant see it in the cart and can be confused, if the option was chosen correctly-

Or does it show somewhere else?

The custom fields value selected by the customer is added automatically everywhere. in the emails, the invoice, the order details page. There is nothing to do for that.
Please give more information on your problem.

I thought it should work for product custom fields but it does not.

For custom fields of the table "product" their are not added in the emails/invoice/cart/checkout.
These are usually additional information which should not be there. You would have to customize the code of each one in order to show the custom product fields.

However, the custom fields of the table "item" which are entered by the user himself on the product page are displayed everywhere since that's usually the interesting thing to know.
