Multiple Characteristics

Can anyone help me?

I have two related questions on chraterisitcs.

First I have a product that can be finished in two ways - Paint or Stain.

Then it has around 4 options in paint or stain.

Is there a way to have layered characterisitics. - If paint thes options if stain these options.

Second is there a way to have thumbnail picture on all of the options on on characterisitic?

Hi,

You can't have layered characteristics. However, you can do that with custom fields of the table "item":

By default, you can't have images for characteristics. However, it's possible to add that with a characteristics display override. We have some documentation for developers about that here:
