How to create gift certificates with Hika Business

I purchased Hika Business for a client's site and need to configure it to be able to sell gift cards/certificates. Serial has this ability but Business doesn't? Business is more than twice the amount---shouldn't it include it or support for the ability to add that feature? Why keep them separate?

If the ability to configure gift cards/certificates can be accomplished in Business, let me know the steps.

That's indeed the case. HikaSerial has that option but you can't do it in HikaShop directly.
We can't include everything in HikaShop. The package is already really big and so for big features like the serial handling, we have to do it as a separate application. Also, serial hanlding is something most users of HikaShop don't need so it kind of make sense to have it in a separate application.

So, just to be clear, if I purchase and install HikaSerial it will not conflict with the business shop. At that point I will have two installs of two distinct and different components on one site--correct?

That's indeed correct.
HikaShop and HikaSerial are two different joomla extensions which "work together".
You won't have conflicts between them.
