You need to have an associated module configured in the menu if you use a menu to access your categories. If you use a module of categories, you need to set a menu in the HikaShop options of the module. This menu will need to be of type listing of categories and have an associated module listing products. You can follow our tutorial on how to display content on the front end:

Also you can check your modules/menus configuration with the demo website ones in order to see if you're missing something.
