Moving large number of products to new category

Hello,

I'm looking for a quick way to move a large number of products into a specific category.

i.e. I have a few products that I would now like to put in the "sale" category, is there a method by which I can move them all at the same time?

Hi,

You can use mass actions in order to add/remove a category from a bunch of products. You can access mass actions via the menu System>Mass actions:

I've been trying to use Mass Actions, but I don't know how to use it for this purpose.

This morning I have discovered that by having a simple action. (Date = Product, Action = Display the Results (Product Name, Category Id x). I am presented with an editable table, but there doesn't seem to be a way of adding categories, just changing them...

Hi,

Unfortunately this is not possible to filter on the discounts applied to them at this time.
But that could be an interesting feature indeed, I add that on our TODO list.
