mass action modified products

Hi, as a webmaster i have to control all the new and modfied products made by the personal at the office.

In Mass action i make a CSV file with the modified products searching by date >=
This also for categories.

Please see the 2 images and i think it is correct this way, or do you this in a other way?

Can you advise me to make a automatic daily CSV report after a product is modified?

Hi,

First, if you look at the data in the database for the order_modified column, you'll see that the format is a timestamp.
So you need to enter a timestamp in your filter:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unix_time
Also, when you use a trigger on a after/before modification/creation event, only the elements modified/created will be filtered.
So having a filter on the product_modified >= to today midnight will do the same as no filter at all, since all the products you'll create/modify will already have then product_modified greater than today midnight.

Maybe you can make a kolom in the catalog product listing to "orden the modified products by date"

Now there are the orden kolom for ID and published products.

is that a good idea?

There is not a lot of available space on the width of the listings so we have to decide which columns we can add and which ones we won't.
In most cases, the last time the product was modified is not an important information for the merchant. So we don't plan on adding it.
