How to set bulk discounts ??

Hello all,

1.We want to set a discount of 25% for min 100 copies or Rs.3500 above.
another 10% discount for some institutions.

How to do this??

2. How to disable this??

Hi,

You can create a coupon via the "new" button of the menu Orders->Discounts. In order to add such minimum quantity/price requirement, you will need either the Essential or the Business edition as the Starter edition doesn't offer such restrictions.
You can unpublish the coupon once you want to disable it.

Ok fine.

But actually i did not published any coupons or discounts......then why still appears at checkout??

Hi,
The only thing that is appearing through your checkout is the coupon code field where your customers will have to enter their coupon code.
If you don't want it to be displayed, you'll just have to do :
- Go to the page "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Checkout"
- Erase the "coupon" action from your checkout workflow.
