Buying 2 tickets for the price of 1

What would be the easiest way to set something like this up? I've already got a coupon entered in giving a certain $ amount of tickets bought. The client wanted to start a new promotion...

We would need more information to be able to answer you precisely.
Are the tickets always one product ? Different products ? With different prices ?
Should the user have to enter a code for the discount to apply ?

i figured out a solution to this... the tickets were all $15 so i added a discount with code for $15; so, when 2 are bought it was then applied.
