i am looking to develop a website where in a buyer may post a product or service and customers and vendors can bid for that product or service.

something like a buyer needs a webdeveloper, vendors can bid on that project. can hika auction or any hika product do this?

Sure, the solution will be to use both HikaMarket multi-vendor and HikaAuction together, so that your vendors will be able to create auctions to sell their services :

in hikashop and hikamarket, vendors are able to post their items for sale

what i want to develop is for the buyer and not a seller to post a buying request.

its like a form wherein you can indicate what you plan to buy and buyer has the option to post his request. in turn sellers can bid on that request.

maybe to summarise

1. can buyers post a buying request? or can anyone post a buying reuquest
2. can buyers post a buying request with out registering?
3 after posting a buying request, can vendors or sellers bid?
4.after posting a buying request, how does vendors find out about this bid?
5. can i limit the number of people joining the bid?
6. can hikaauction filter the bid? example if he want bidders near his location?

1. What do you exactly mean by "buying request" ? Buyers will only be able to bid on auctions, and compete with other potential buyers. They won't be able to created auction, only the shop owner and other vendors can do it.

2. Guest can't bid for the moment but that's on our todo list.

3. Yes, they can be both vendors and potential clients

4. They'll be able to follow it through their auction/product page

5. 6. There is no option to achieve it but that's a good idea, we'll add it on our todo list

i would to create a form wherein non vendors or sellers can create an action. example a buyer wants a new phone, so his post or creates an auction for the the phone he wants. Vendors or sellers with iphones can bid on the auction.

Guest can't bid for the moment but that's on our todo list.

if registered or guest can bid, i think i can convinced my client to buy

To simplify your request (before you and the HikaShop team are getting lost in many specific Q+A more or less well formulated):

You want something like www.freelancer.com , (also) for tangible goods, correct?

If so, that's not possible out of the box with HikaShop/Auction/Market because these components are only for offering/selling goods or services to buyers or bidders. There is no component for anything "Hika..." allowing potential customers/buyers to post "wanted" goods which then sellers could quote or bid on.

There's actually no option to do that for the moment, but it's actually on our todo, so it will be in a future version of HikaAuction.
