I'm upgrading my site from Joomla 3 to Joomla 5. There is a problem with the cart icon. It was present on the old site, but in the new version I only see the inscription “cart is empty.”
How can I set a cart icon instead of text?

I suppose this was done with a translation override:

However, if you edit the HikaShop cart module via the Joomla modules manager, you'll see that there is now a cart icon setting under the HikaShop options tab where you can just provide the URL of the cart icon.

I still can't solve this problem.
I connected fontawesome through the module, but the cart is displayed twice. How can I expand only one icon?




Also, if there is an item in the cart, only the cost should remain (without the cart icon and the word “Total”. How to do this?

I was rather thinking you would add the URL of an icon image in the "Icon path" setting, under the "HikaShop options" tab of the module.
This would prevent the double display of the fontawesome icon.
Now, this double display can be fixed by adding some custom CSS code, so it's not difficult to do.

However, if you don't want the icon to display when there is something in the cart, then neither of these solutions will work for you. You'll have instead to use a translation override of the CART_EMPTY translation key. In it, you can add your HTML for the fontawesome icon instead of the "cart is empty" message:
