Hi again,

In category listing configurations (remember, where you also set number of columns), in the module for the "Associated module" below please set the option "Sub elements filter" to "Direct sub elements".
And please make sure that only (sub)categories are assigned to products (not parent categories).

Please make use of and read documentation:
www.hikashop.com/support/support/documen...html#categories_menu

Please refer to the HikaShop documentation for the content (category listing menu ; product listing module)

Thank you so much the quick reply,

I have to admit , this application on of a kind, but the support in docs not good at all , at least in my opinion, you are assuming it good for every one, and if i have to consider myself average when I'm not even average then the docs here will not work.
before i came to this place asking my question I already done many research, and top of that i read your docs, and did also a YouTube search, however every scenario is different, and not necessarily the docs works with every scenario
thanks for the great help

you are awesome!

Hi,

lousyfool already told you exactly what setting to check:
www.hikashop.com/forum/install-update/87...products.html#193053
Even with your additional information, I still believe that this is the issue. So check that and that should then work for you like you want.

In addition to you setting the "Sub elements filter" correctly, let me emphasise the categorisation of products:

Which category is assigned to your "Add" products/options? If it's a parent category - worst case "Product category" - it's a bad idea to put them there... they should rather be in a different (separate?) category.

For as long as they're in a parent category, they will - of course - be displayed below a category listing, even if you set the parameter "Sub elements filter" to "Direct sub elements", because that's exactly what they are: direct sub elements of e.g. "Product category".

Once again (I just copy & paste): please make sure that only (sub)categories are assigned to products (not parent categories).

I asked you, but we don't know what is in which category. Neither do we know what your category listing configuration is. So, you're on your own. Should be no problem at all with all the information and documentation provided, though.

Lastly, here's a friendly reminder that there's also the demo website where you can see and try how it's done - frontend and backend.

You probably had the correct module associated already, so that's not relevant here, plus the numbers of listing menus don't tell anyone but you anything, anyway.

It's the configuration of category listing and the associated module itself. So, to avoid going further in circles and us repeating ourselves, or you drifting off into a completely wrong direction, please go back to the beginning of this thread, follow suggestions and study: www.hikashop.com/support/support/documen...html#categories_menu
