I have been asked if it is possible to convert an old webshop using MijoShop to HikaShp.

According to the documentation it seems to be possible if HikaShop is installed on the same site as MijoShop.

Can this be confirmed and is it a 1:1 conversion - maybe from except MijoShop specifik extensions?

Best Regards,
Anders

Hi,

It's possible yes.
It's not a 1:1 conversion. You'll have to configure your HikaShop, your modules, your menu items, your payment methods your shipping methods in HikaShop...
Also, if you have products with options/characteristics these won't be copied over so you would have to redo them in HikaShop.
The migration tool will import orders, addresses, products and categories. That's basically the main things. But then, not all the data might be imported for products (it depends what you use) so you might have to go over them one by one to reconfigure some stuff.
Sitll, the migration tool will help a lot.

Is it possible to test the import function using the free version of HikaShop or do I need to buy one of the two paid versions to do the conversion?

Hi,

The import function is available in the free version. You can just go in the Products>Import menu to use it on your website:
