Social plugin: Image issue

Hi,

On 2 of my sites, I don't have the right image displayed.

For this URL rolex.jewelrygoldfinger.com/collection/g...-ii/m126710blnr-0003 , the image displayed is correct and called from images/com_hikashop/upload/thumbnails/
But on 2 others sites, like rolexboutique-stthomas.com/collection/oy...rpetual/m276200-0002 the image is called from /images/slider/cache/ which is not correct.

Any idea what can be the issue?

Hi,

In the settings of the Social networks plugin, there is one to display opengraph tags.
I don't see the tags in the headers of your pages so I suppose this setting is turned off.
Because of that, Social networks which rely on these opengraph tags to get the URL of the main image of the page have to try to get the image they think is the main one instead of the real main image of the page.

The setting Open Graph Meta Tag only is on ON. I don't understand why it takes the pics from a different folder and why it works fine on 1 site and doesn't on 2 others. I'm lost

Hi,

Ok. So I look deeper into it on my end and I found out that there was a problem with the revamp we made on this plugin with the 5.0.0. I've made a patch which should help.
Download again the install package of HikaShop 5.0.0 and install it again on your website and you'll get the patch. It should then work properly.

Nearly good. It displays the right pic now, but side effect, the Facebook button is displayed on the frontend and it should not as I selected Open graph meta tag only
