Hi,

I am using most current business edition. I am wanting my cart to be more of a catalog and not items that can directly be purchased. How do I set it up more like a catalog.

Thanks

Hi,

You can activate the option "catalog mode" in the HikaShop configuration (tab "feature").
By activating this feature, all "add to cart" buttons will be removed. The store will become a catalog.

Hi

We have a client that has 6,000+ products.

They want to display 5,000 as a catalogue (very specialised product) and the remaining 1,000+ a shop products for sale online.

We know you can run HikaShop either as a catalogue or shop, but the current configuration setting is "global" across all products.

Is there a way we can distinguish on a product by product basis whether it is Catalogue or For-sale?

Many thanks for a prompt response

Hello,

Sure you'll just have to :
- Set the quantity of the product that you want to be in catalog mode to 0
- Edit your translation file via "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Languages"
- Change that line :
NO_STOCK="No stock"
To :
NO_STOCK=""
