How can i sort/order products and their characteristics?

in administrator/component/hikashop/products. The order column is "blocked"



in versions 2.3.3 and 2.3.4

Hi,

To change the ordering of the products in backend, you have to have filter on "Direct sub elements" and you are now able to order the products in the categories. Otherwise the edition of the ordering will be refused (because you are display all sub elements).

For the characteristics go through Products > Characteristics and select a characteristic then you are able to order the characteristic values.

How is it possible to sort them on the front-end ?

Hello,
On the front-end, you'll only be able to sort :
- Your products through your product listing content menus/modules, and to do that you'll just have to go to your product listing content menu/module configuration page and use the "Ordering" option
- Your Characteristics through your product details page, and to do that you'll just have to directly order your product through the variant listing page of your product configuration page on your back-end.
