hikashop - category switched with root was created by johnelny
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.2
-- Joomla version -- : 3.5.1
root and categories all jacked -- wtf. I tried to move a product category, it ended up at the top level with root -- couldn't find were the heck to edit it to move it back again where it needed to be, as it was on the same level as root. now root moved down a level and my category is where root was, and it looks like there are now duplicate categories. seriously, what the hell... how do i get this right again.

Hi,
Try to click on the "rebuild" button of the categories listing that might help.
If not, edit the table hikashop_category via your phpmyadmin and make sure that the category_parent_id value of your categories correspond to the category_id of the parent that you want for them with the "root" category having 0 in the category_parent_id.
And then click on the "rebuild" button again and it should be ok then.
