Dynamic Remarketing Plugin

I'm keen to get a Dynamic Re-marketing campaign set up for my website. What does the 'HikaShop Google Dynamic Remarketing (conversion tracking) plugin' actually do?

The only thing that I'm missing to start my campaign is the 'ecomm_prodid'. Is there a plugin that will input this information?

Thanks for your reply. The ecomm_prodid must match the feed attributes id (which is the ID given in hikashop), item_group_id, or display_ads_id provided for in the merchant feed.

Instead of a custom product field, I would like to suggest that the simplest solution would be to have a switch in the plugin to use "I.D., MPN etc." for ecomm_prodid too. It would make it a lot cleaner and save people a lot of work.

Hi,

You can enter the ecomm_prodid in each product in the "code" of the product and the HikaShop Remarketing plugin will use it automatically.
Next version will have an extra setting in the plugin to be able to enter the column name of a custom field so that you can enter your ecomm_prodid elsewhere than in the product code.

Does Hikashop version 2.6.4 have this function in the plugin ?

So now I want to make Google Dynamic Remarketing work.

I have enabled HikaShop Google Dynamic Remarketing plugin:
The new field in the plugin "Column name for ecomm_prodid" says "product_code".

Google says that:

"The ecomm_prodid must match the feed attributes id (which is the ID given in hikashop), item_group_id, or display_ads_id provided for in the merchant feed."

In the Hikashop Google Products Plugin I have enabled "Add Product Code (mpn)" to YES so that the file that I uppload to Google merchant center is including the product_code on each product.

Should this be enough to make it work ?
Or do I need to create a custom field and fill in a value (i.e 0001) for each product ?

But now a new problem:

In the HikaShop Google Dynamic Remarketing (conversion tracking) plugin there's a field name: Adwords ID

Should I type in my adwords ID here which looks something like this:
715-xxx-xxxx
or should I type in my "Adwords conversion ID" which looks something like this:
1019xxxxxx

The reason I am confused is that I get this meassage in "Tag Assistant (by Google, used in google chrome)" when I type in the Adword ID (the first one)

"Conversion ID malformed in the <noscript> tag: 715-xxx-xxxx

any advice ?

Note: When I type in the conversion ID the message goes away.

Excellent now it works.

Now it display fine it Google Tag assistant and gets validated.

But I can se other online stores also have a third ecomm value in their products page "ecomm_totalvalue" (this is the prodcut price)

i.e:

ecomm_prodid 884927
ecomm_pagetype product
ecomm_totalvalue 13990

Any advice on how to implement this and what file to I need to edit ?
