tab variants is empty on product page backend

Hey,

For inexplicable reasons, the variants on the product page (backend) are suddenly no longer visible or adaptable. I didn't make any changes to the shop in the last few hours or days, I thought. It worked very smoothly before. How is this suddenly possible?

There are several people who can access the backend, but I don't think they have changed anything either. (I can't find anything in the User Actions Log)

In the meantime we have discovered that if we delete and re-enter the various properties, the variants tab is no longer empty... strange!?
