"No products in this category" is displayed on botom of category page.

-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : "No products in this category"

"No products in this category" is displayed on bottom of category page.
In settings i have "Only display categories with products" to yes. But the "No products in this category" is still there. Can be with the new hikashop i did yesterday,,

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback and the details on the issue.
It comes from an improvement we added in the 6.0.0 to display a message when no products are found in a category.
And on your link there are no products displayed on the page as only the sub categories have products, not the main category of your menu item.
I agree that in such case, the message should not be displayed. I've made a patch to handle this.
Download again the install package of the latest version of HikaShop and install it on your website and you'll get the patch.

Hi,
I’ve just updated to HikaShop 6.4.0 and the message is showing up again. Same situation: no products in the current category, but there are some in the subcategories. It would be great if there were an option to hide this message or if the patch could be re-released for 6.4.0.

Hi,

This issue was indeed fixed in HikaShop 6.0.0 and the fix is still in place in 6.4.0. No changes have been made to the relevant code since then.

The most likely cause is that your Joomla template has a view override for HikaShop that was created before the fix was applied. Please check if either of these files exist in your template folder:

`templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_hikashop/category/listing.php`
`templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_hikashop/product/listing.php`

If one or both exist, they are overriding the default HikaShop views and may not include the fix. You can either rename or remove them to confirm this is the cause, or update them to match the current HikaShop version.

Thank you for your reply, Nicolas. After I deleted the file `templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_hikashop/category/listing.php` as a test, the message is no longer displayed.
