Where is the column display mode for reports ?

-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.2

Hi,
I used to check sales with a report "sales of the year vs sales of last year". I used to group items per month and the report displayed 2 columns (red and blue) for each month.
But the "colum" mode has disappeared from the display choice. it remains only "Gauge", "Graph", "Line", "Area", "Pie", "Map", "Listing" and "Table".
Is it a bug I have ?
or Did you "kill" that kind of display ?

We never had a "column" type.
I suppose that you must have had the translation from another extension changing the name of one of these types to "column" and so you don't find it another as the translation isn't there.
The "graph", "line" and "area" types should all allow you to get the same data displayed.

The "Reports Edition" Hikashop page clearly shows the column type display. I've used it for years.
9 types of display were possible and now only 8 remain. Please have a look to the attached pics.

My bad, I wasn't looking at the same thing.
We indeed did remove that type to have less of them since it was redundant with other types like lines or area which display basically the same information.

Column reports were quite important for us, most commonly used and more than line charts
Some of my older charts still display columns as long as I don't touch these they work. Any attempt to edit and it crashes. (Version 4.2.1)

If these old charts still work in the Dashboard I assume the functionality is still there. How can I use this, any workaround?

If you have a crash when you edit a report, then it could be a bug we could help you fix.
Could you provide more information on that crash?
Please activate the "error reporting" and "debug mode" settings of the Joomla configuration and look at the page again. You should get an error message with a lot of details on the issue. We'll need those to be able to better understand the situation.
