The Government wants to increase the low VAT rate from 6% to 9%.
The intention is that this increase is to start on 1 January 2019.
Adding a new tax (9%) item on System > Tax is step one
How can I filter all products assigned to tax 6% and bulk change them to 9%?
I want to keep the tax item 6%

Hi,
You don't need to bulk change anything.
Once you've created the tax rate of 9%, just edit the tax rules in System>Taxes for that 9% tax rate and set an end date to 31/12/2018 at 23h59
And then duplicate these tax rules, remove the end date and instead set a start date to 1/1/2019 at 0h00. Finally, in these tax rules change the tax rate to the 6% tax rate.
That way, it will automatically switch to the new tax rate at the correct hour without you having to do anything manually.

Hello perfectwebteam..
Did you create a new tax category? or did you add the new tax rate in the same tax categorie?
Is it possible to add a screenshot?
Thanks..

Hi,
You should create a new tax rate as I was saying in my message: www.hikashop.com/forum/taxes/896125-low-...-01-2019.html#299943
You don't have to change anything with your tax categories.
