Wrong price displayed - Taxes are added again to price with tax

Hello.
I'm a bit confused about prices and taxes.
Usually, when i would enter the price in the "Price with tax" field, the system calculated the "price without tax" value.
Now, as I enter the "Price with tax" field, the corresponding field shows the same price.
And on the frontend I see the price with tax with a new tax applied on it.

So for example, if I put 6.00€ as the price with tax, the price without tax shows 6.00€, while the frontend shows 6.60€ (tax is 10%)

Hello,

Can you check that your tax isn't unpublished (IVA al 10%), in Tax rules (Main Configuration, System dropdown => Taxes) ?
Beyond that, we do not see why you would have this type of result.

And so if your tax rule is still published (and therefore active) can you provide us with the following elements:
- Url link to your administrator acess
- Backend user references (with maximum Acl)

I don't have the problem on your website:

I suppose this comes from the addresses that you've configured for the user account you're using in your backend.
It must be outside Italy and when I look at your taxes in the System>Taxes menu, there is only one published tax rule for the tax category "IVA al 10%" and it is restricted to Italy. So if your address in the backend is not Italy, then no taxes will apply and thus the untaxed and taxed amount will be caclulated as the same value by the system.

.........no words., I still miss these little things.
Your adivce has opened my eyes.

Just to be clear, for someone else who could have the same problem.
In my case it wasn't related to the User Account Address, rather than to the restrictions I've applied on the taxes, that were published only for real users and not for Super and Publishers.
Checking the corresponding checkbox solve the problem
