Nexi

This plugin is a payment solution via Nexi Checkout, previously known as Nets Easy and DIBS, using the Hosted Payment Page integration. It is the payment platform used by most Danish, Swedish and Norwegian merchants.

• Once installed, it will be configurable like a normal payment method with the "new" button in the menu System>Payment methods of HikaShop
• At the end of the checkout, the user will be redirected to the Nexi payment page.
• The user will be able to select among the payment methods you activated in your Nexi merchant account. Among them, you will find: credit card, MobilePay, Vipps, Swish, PayPal and invoice.
• After the payment, the user will be redirected back to the thank you page of your shop, his order will be confirmed, and he will also receive a confirmation email from HikaShop.
• The order is confirmed both when the customer comes back and when Nexi notifies your shop, so an order is still processed when the customer closes his browser on the payment page.
• You can either charge the payment immediately, or only reserve the amount and charge it later, when the order reaches the status you configured for the capture in the HikaShop configuration.
• Changing an order to the refunded status refunds the payment on Nexi. If Nexi refuses the refund, the status of the order is left unchanged so that you can see that something went wrong.
• Cancelling an order which was only reserved releases the amount on the card of your customer instead of leaving it blocked until it expires.
• The content of the cart is sent to Nexi, so your customer sees the detail of his order on the payment page, and you see it in your Nexi merchant account.

• 1) Download the plugin on our website via the download link provided to you after the purchase
• 2) Install it on your Joomla website (extension manager)
• 3) In your HikaShop System>Payment methods menu, click on the "new" button to create a new payment method and then select the Nexi Checkout payment plugin.
• 4) Configure the settings of the plugin after retrieving your Secret key and your Checkout key from the "Company" section of your Nexi merchant portal. Make sure that you select the appropriate environment: the test keys only work with the Test environment and the live keys only work with the Production environment. The "Capture" setting decides whether the payment is charged immediately or only reserved. The debug setting can be turned on if you have an issue and you will then be able to check the debug data in the "payment log file" of the HikaShop configuration page. The other settings don't usually need to be changed.
• 5) Enter the URL of your terms and conditions page in the settings. Nexi requires it and displays it on the payment page.

• A Nexi Checkout merchant account, previously called Nets Easy.
• Your shop must be reachable in HTTPS from the internet so that Nexi can notify it of the payments.
• The currency of your orders must be supported by your Nexi account. The plugin hides itself during the checkout when the currency is not one Nexi accepts.
