DSK Bank

This plugin adds DSK Bank card payments to your HikaShop store. At the end of the checkout your customer is sent to the payment page of the bank, pays by card there, and comes back to the thank you page of your shop. The money goes straight to your DSK Bank merchant account, with no other service in between.

• Visa and Mastercard, credit and debit, on the hosted payment page of DSK Bank.
• 3-D Secure is handled by the bank, so your shop never sees a card number and stays out of the scope of the card data rules.
• The payment page speaks the language of your customer, or the one you choose.
• Amounts are sent in euro, the currency of Bulgaria since the 1st of January 2026, and the plugin also handles the other currencies your merchant account accepts.
• The content of the order is named on the payment page and in your merchant console, so a payment is easy to match with an order.

• The order is confirmed by the notification the bank sends to your shop, and by the return of the customer, whichever comes first.
• A customer who closes the browser on the payment page still gets his order confirmed, because the bank tells your shop about the payment.
• The notification is checked against the key of your merchant account before anything is changed, and its amount is compared with the amount of the order, so a payment cannot be faked.
• The status of a payment is always read back from the bank, never from what the browser of the customer carries.
• A repeated notification confirms the order once and only once.

• Moving an order to the refunded status gives the money back to your customer on the card he paid with.
• A refund the bank refuses leaves the status of the order unchanged, so you can see that something went wrong.
• Cancelling a payment which was only held releases the amount on the card instead of leaving it blocked until it expires.
• Every refund and every reversal is written in the history of the order and in the payment log.

• Hold the amount at the checkout and take it later, when you ship, in one setting.
• The money is taken when the order reaches the status you configured for the capture.
• Useful when you sell goods you may not be able to ship, since a held amount is released without a refund.

• A test mode runs the whole checkout against the sandbox of the bank, with their published test cards, before you take a real payment.
• A debug setting writes every exchange with the bank in the payment log of HikaShop.

• 1) Ask DSK Bank for an e-commerce merchant account and for the API login and password of that account.
• 2) Download the DSK Bank plugin from our website.
• 3) Install it on your Joomla or WordPress website and enable it.
• 4) Go to HikaShop > Payment methods, create a DSK Bank payment method and enter the API login and password.
• 5) Give the notification URL displayed in the settings of the method to the support of the bank, so they send the payment notifications to your shop, and ask them for the key their notifications are signed with.

• Merchant API login and Merchant API password: the credentials of your DSK Bank merchant account.
• Environment: the sandbox of the bank while you test, the production gateway once you are live.
• Language of the payment page: the language of the customer, Bulgarian or English.
• Two phase payments: hold the amount at the checkout and take it later.
• Callback key or callback certificate: what the notifications of the bank are signed with.
• Send the notification URL with each order: for merchant accounts where the bank enabled dynamic notifications.
• Order statuses: the status of a paid order, of a failed payment and of a refunded order.

DSK Bank is one of the largest card acquirers in Bulgaria. This plugin is for shops with a DSK Bank merchant account.
