unique visitor hit count on product page

-- PHP version -- : 7.2.14

Hi, I would like to ask if it is possible to have displayed unique visitor hit count on product page.

I checked the code from this forum thread but it counts all views not unique.

Hi,

The only stored statistic is the all views hits.
The unique views hits (whereby you don't count each display of the page by the same person) is not counted.
In that case you would have to create custom product field in order to be able to store that count and increment it yourself on the product page each time you deem it necessary.
