Unpublsihed vendors with published products

Does anyone have a solution for this.
If a vendor publishes an item, and you unpublish the vendor; vendors items are still published and can be
found if bookmarked as published items.
If you bookmark a vendors item then unpublish the vendor. The item is still published via the bookmark.
How do you add the vendors name to the url of an item.
example:

yourstore.com/vendor1

then a list of items are shown.

item: coffe1

If you click on coffee1 it takes you to the coffee1 product page.
How to make the product page url display like this.

yourstore.com/vendor1/coffe1

So if someone booksmarks the product and if you unpublish the vendor, the vendors product (coffee1) is no
longer valid.

This function is very inportant. Any help/solution would be greatly appresiated.
If not fixed then someone can bookmark items and place orders even if the vendor doesnt exist.
