Hi,

as I could understand the tax rules are dependent on customer.

But in Bulgaria if vendor is VAT registered (have VAT number) it's invoices include VAT. For those that are not VAT registered no VAT is added.

In other words if VAT should be added to Invoice depends on Vendor not on customer.
So we have to set wheather each and every vendor is VAT registered or not.

How could I do that?
Regards!

Hi,

The VAT is product related.
So for vendors who does not have any VAT ; they should select the corresponding tax category for their products so the product won't have any tax applies.
And the same thing for vendors with VAT ; they should select the right tax category for their products.

So, you need to let them access to the product tax category in the market ACL.

Hi, Jerome
Obviously I was on the wrong way of thinking and understanding VAT rules, but it is now quite clear and it is working just as you explained.
Thank you!

One more question.

Is there a way not to give vendor access to product tax category in the market ACL, but to assign each vendor default tax category in backend?

Hi,

It is possible and it requires the usage of the "product template".
Each vendor can have a product template and you can also choose a default product template in the HikaMarket configuration.

It means that you need two templates (one for each product tax category) and assign manually the product template to your vendors.
If you want to make that assignation automatic ; it would require a custom plugin.
I wished that you could use a mass action for that but unfortunately, there are some bugs in the HikaShop mass action system which does not allow HikaMarket to be integrated with...
