PayPal Advanced, Status Update

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.5.0

When placing an order in the store, everything flows fine to PayPal (using PayPal Advanced Plugin) and back, and we can see that the processing through PayPal goes fine. We are returned to a blank HikaShop checkout (after End) page with a message saying "Thank you for your purchase"...

However, when looking at the order, it is set to created, not confirmed even though the payment went through fine.
Shouldn't this be set to confirmed?

Hi,

Please check that your server can be triggered by the server-to-server Paypal notification.
We have a FAQ you can follow in order to find out the cause of the issue:
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/i...or.html#notification
If your server can't be reached, paypal won't be able to confirm the order ; once the notification is receive, the plugin send an email to the administrator to notify him of the status.

What is odd is that notifications were working shortly before launching the site. The only thing that I can think of that changed was that we enabled a SSL certificate and our URL changed, but not IP address, it remained consistent.

Jerome, we may be on to the issue. There were a couple of files in our root directory that were inadvertently deleted, they looked like this:

paypaladvanced_2.php
paypaladvanced_2_55c1115e50858_1438716254p.php

We are only assuming this is why the notifications may not be working and we are not getting a "confirmed" notification or "confirmed" order status? Is there an easy way to restore these files, how do these get generated?

Hi,

You can simply re-save the configuration of the plugin in the HikaShop backend.
It will recreate the files if it does not find them.
