Hi,

I am not sure should be it be like that by default but we noticed that if you have order cancelled and manually change it to confirmed product stock isn't removed? We had few orders which we cancelled as not paid and later buyer paid for it so we changed it to confirmed. Now found that these products have wrong stock....

Hi,

Where is nothing special. It is all by default. Stock removed on created. Stock added back on cancelled.

Hi,

The stock is only changed automatically in normal operations. When going from the created status to a confirmed/shipped status, or when going from confirmed/shipped to cancelled/refunded.
For strange operations like from cancelled to confirmed, the system doesn't change the stock as it is not a normal operation and he doesn't know what you want to do. So it's up to you to change the stock manually if necessary in that case.
