URGENT: product not added to basket

Hi,

Could you please help me asap on the fillowing issue:

When a product is added to the basket, it is not really added. The basket remains empty.

Please see attached a print screen as exapmple. I added a product, got the message that is was successfully added, but it is not really added in the basket.

Could you please look into this urgently, because I noticed few customers left my site when the reached the checkout.

Thanks for your response.
The "double" structure is set up like this according to my template provider (RCA theme Gti shop). To be honest, I cannot tell you the reason for this.

Luckily you cannot reproduce the issue, I also cannot anymore.
Could it be that it had to do with a temporary unsafe connection of my website ( It didn't have "https" for a while)? This was an issue as well yesterday.
