Guest checkout easier, shipping checkbox inverted

Hi Guys,

I love Hikashop 4, so much better with the backend icons .

Butt.....

I still thing the checkout with the address could be easier (i know i can be a pain in the ass).

The checkout proccess is super important.
You guys have made the most advanced checkout system in the world.
There should be presets and stuff to make it easier.
The checkout is the biggest reason why i would go to woocommerce for simpel shops.
Everytime i setup a site i get frustrated and see customers do not understanding the Address part.

99% of the customers want to order a product with one address.
No different shipping address.
Now you have to be very awake to check the box i want to ship to the same.

Everyone that wants to ship it to a different address will be awake to search for that option.
The rest is just stupid clicking next, next...

I sit behind test customers (friends) and they all make the same mistake and do not understand what is happing with the second address.
"What i just typed my address he is asking again..."
So the UX here is still not how you would expect, and how most other checkouts work.

So there should be an option:
1. Default ship to billing address
2. Default ask for extra sending address

If you have presets, templates of checkout that can be exported and imported that would be so much better.
Just preset easy checkout.

I totally agree that address is a big pain with hikashop as far as we are with it.... It has improved but still not clear and in order to have it best from UX perspective we had to modify it a lot...

I am not sure what could be done here. Seems hikashop want to make it flexible as possible but it hurts other things....

We have just updated our webiste with new design and you may want to take a looks into it. The checkout is easy as possible but still not perfect as we want

Well if you make the checkbox default checked or ask it different...
Like all other shops do
If you see the video you can see what i mean.
And i show a preview of how it could be.

Your checkout looks great. The language i do not understand but google did his best haha
Are the next steps also next steps in Hikashop?
Under eachother is maybe better than tabs.
So vertically tabs, is that default or custom?

If you check forum you will see that there were a lot topics regarding address/guest information. I saw your video and agree with your opinion but everything can be changed if you have knowledge. If we wouldn't be able to change code by our selfs we wouldn't even bother to use hikashop.... Also, don't have time to learn other things like wodpress code...

Regarding our checkout. It's basically one step checkout. After filling address, you may want to click checkbox which will create account or just proceed as a guest. Then shipping and payment options appears and thats all.

Everything we have is custom based on plazart framework. We had to migrate to new framework as our old one was not supported and wasn't working with joomla 3.8 up...

Well i change views in php but not functionality's.
Thats where my knowledge and interest stops.
Because i do not like update issues i stay as close to core as possible unless a customer wants to pay for customization and more work on updates

Problem of nice frameworks is more work on updates.
I build my own themes to keep is as simple as possible.
On this site i showed i bought a Hikashop theme to save money but it cost me more time and headaches all the time haha.

I want to migrate a website from version 2 to 3.
This issue is the reason i do not want to migrate it because in version 2 i created the solution for this
Can i expect this feature in 2018? so i wait a moment to migrate?

That is because the person who does not need a different sending address should not need to check/do/think about anything for that.
1. Checkbox use same address should be default checked
Or
2. Inverse the question like all other webshops. That is common so why do it different?
Different means most of the time thinking
So not checked question: [] Send to a different address than billing
If checked you get the next address if not you have billing and sending to same address.

I would be so happy if this is easier for my customers
