Product Characteristic & Price

i need to assign 2 or more Charactistics to a product, each change the price of the product.

- Standard = Product in Glas € 7,90
- if you have bought in Glas, you can reorder in Paperbag € 5,90

I have set-up the product with a price of € 7,90. Now, if you select the Charactericstic "Refill-Paperbag" I want to display a price of 5,90.

as of now, i found my way to create characteristics, but not how to give them individual prices. Also, i think i will have to have both characteristics in only one drop-down...

Your Tutorial does help me any further, since the steps to enter different values are not explained. I appreciate your input.

Hi,
If you want to give different prices regarding your product variant, you'll have to :
- Go to your product configuration page
- Click on the "Manage variant" button of the "Characteristic" tab
- Add different prices regarding your product variant.

now i have 2 prices.. and cannot select the "Characteristics"

i want ONE price, and if you select a different Characteristics, the price should change to that price...

Hi,

I applied the same Tax category on each product. For the products that do not have any characteristics, the tax is being calculated and included on the checkout page. But for the products that have one or more characteristics, I can see the tax on the product page, but the product is being added to the cart without the tax and also the tax is not being included on the checkout page.

What is the possible reason for this?

I figured this out.... The name fields of the characteristics were being left empty until now, I thought this was not important, cause everything else was working fine.

hi Nicolas why cant I change the characteristics of a product once the order has been placed? i click on the product and product pops up but has ADD TO CART button

Hi,

On the listing of product in the order edition interface you have to click on the "pencil" which allow the edition of the product in the order.
When clicking on the product name, it display just the frontend product page in a popup.

but why doesn't it let me choose my product characteristics?
