Dear team, this is my problem.
I have successfully add custom fields to the registration form. Newsletter, user agreement, but these fields are under the address and hence not the upper part registration. Now when the user is logged in, and wants to add or edit his addresses he still needs to click the user agreement and newsletter opt out. How can I add fields to the registration part of the form only, so that those fields no longer appear in the user back-end control panel? What .php file do I open to modify and what code?
Thanks very much for your help
Regards
Thomas

I have the free version for now

I now bought Essential. Will that solve this problem?

Hi,

Yes. You need to create custom fields of the table "user" instead of custom fields of the table "address" and they'll work like you want. And as you guessed, they are not available with the Starter edition, only with the Essential and the Business editions.
