hi here some questions about update quantity in hikashop .
1) Are there people on the forum who use a scanner to import quantities based on the unique EAN field?
2) Is there an android software that by scanning the EAN code requests the quantity and sends it to the hikashop server using a specific URL?
3) Does Hikashop support the update of stocks by url as it supports the validation of a e ticket by url? see www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/2...ticket-tutorial.html

i really like joomla and hikashop from the start with the very very good forum support even i think a good documentation with search form and alphabetic index of many keyword ll let hikashop team focus on code rather than forum . The aim is to know what hikashop user use , here some link find in other e commerce website :

www.shopify.com/blog/72878597-introducin...pify-pos-for-android
help.shopify.com/en/manual/sell-in-perso...-pos-barcode-scanner
www.shopify.com/pos/hardware/barcode-scanner
help.shopify.com/en/manual/sell-in-perso...are/barcode-scanners

it a shame that even POS for webshops that support hikashop ( logo in first page ) don't have information about hikashop ( no logo) in their knowledge base page .

Hi,

There is no such app as far as I know. However, it's a good idea indeed.
For now, there is no easy way to update the stock of one product via a web service in HikaShop.
Developing web services is something we want to do soon in HikaShop.
So it would start from here and then have an app to handle the scanning and contacting the website to update the stock.
However, it's possible to also do it without web services if you write a small system plugin to act as a small web service and interact with the app.
