Hi.
In my store with hikashop, when a non-logged user adds items to the shopping cart and clicks the buy button to go to checkout, the number of products in the shopping cart indicator is set to 0.
It only happens with visiting users.
When a user is logged in this problem does not occur.
Any suggestions?

Hi,

You have a caching issue on your website I think.
Because it's looks like the website is displaying an old version of the module, without the actual content of the cart being taken into account.

I,ve been talking about it with Siteground.
We,ve doing testing deactivating cache.
The problem persist.
Do you think Maybe a problem with “anywhere” module?
What can I Do?

Confirmed.
It is the composition of the shopping cart within a anywhere module that is causing problems.
I have relocated the shopping cart to another position and problem solved.
I don't like it because I'm more in favor of putting the shopping cart on the top bar, but at least it doesn't cause errors.
If you have any other suggestions...

Hi,

Well, I don't know how that top bar is made on your website. Normally, it should be done through your template, which would have a "top bar" position with the different modules you want to display there set to that position. In that case, you wouldn't need to use modules anywhere.

Also, modules anywhere has an "ignore caching" setting which might help :

Hi Nicolas.
The top bar is made just as you tell me, using the "anywhere" component (you recommended it to me).
If I put the shopping cart in a different module than the one that takes "anywhere" as a reference, it doesn't give an error.
Even activating the Ignore Cache option it still worked poorly.

Hi,

Using modules anywhere is a simple way to display modules when the template doesn't already has a position for modules to be displayed in. I recommend modules anywhere because it's easy.
But the proper way of displaying modules on the frontend is through a normal module position in your template. Modules Anywhere and other modules display extensions can't replicate perfectly all the capabilities of normal module positions.
So while it's a bit more complex to do, if you have issues with modules anywhere, I would then recommend using a normal module position in your template. That's why I now direct you to this.
