Hi, since 04/07/2024 when I add a new product in my smart search I don't see the INTRO or FULL images.
I just created a HIKA product: Bullone Prova HIKA and I don't see the photo.
If you search for older products like CASCO you will always find the photo of the product
I haven't upgraded anything and I don't understand the problem.
If I delete the smart search index the products lose their image, all the images
i add two screenshot
Please, can you help me solve it?

I did a test: I created a Joomla article called Bullone articolo with the same photo and it appears correctly on smart search.

Hi,

I did a test on my end and cleared all the indexes of my Smart search component, reindexed everything with HikaShop 5.0.4 and I do get the images of the products on the results page:
i.imgur.com/BG2lNHZ.png
So I'm not sure why it would work for you.
If you go in the Smart Search>Index menu and open the index of a product, you can see the object details:
i.imgur.com/erxIah5.png
As you can see on my end, it contains the imageUrl parameter with the URL of the image of the product.
What do you see there ?

Hello and thanks for the support,
if I go here Smart Search: Indexed Content I can't click anywhere to open the index of a product,
the strange thing is that until 2024-05-03 I don't see the titles from then on!
If you want I'll give you access to the site, I already have a backup, maybe you can help me!!!
Thank you

Hi,

Thanks for the access.
I checked the situation but I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work.
Could you also provide a FTP access so that we can look further into it and do some debugging ?

Hi,

So, I looked further into it, and the issue comes from your template's customization of the results page of the Smart search. The view overrides in the template don't display the image.
If I switch to the default template of Joomla and clear the cache on your website, I do get the images for the HikaShop products :
i.imgur.com/Dc0WRhn.png
Since you said that it works for Joomla articles, I suppose it means that contrarily to what Joomla does by default, the template has custom code to load the images of the articles for the search results and that isn't compatible with other content.
I'm afraid you'll have to contact your template provider for help as I'm not sure what should be done in your template to properly support images display the same way Joomla does by default.
