Custom Field in item table not showing in customer email

-- Browser(s) name and version -- : any

Hi,

I've added a custom field on the item for products. this works fine. I've selected ti to display everywhere.

When a message is added and the product is checked out the message doesn't appear in the created or the confirmed email? If you select "If you don't see this email properly, click here to see your order details " then the message appears there. Also if you are in the admin and edit an order and press either the Invoice OR shipping button then the message appears there too. How can I get it to appear in the created/confirmed emails please?

Hi,

This indicates that either:
- You have the email display settings deactivated in your custom field settings page.
- You have modified the emails of HikaShop based on old versions of HikaShop and these versions didn't support the new email display settings of custom fields. In that case, you'll have to remove your customizations of the emails and reapply them to the new version of the emails in the menu System>Emails.
