-- HikaShop version -- : 4.7.4

Hi,

After updating to J4 I have notice these ODD issues

1) Issue with changing the Shipped status.
When changing the shipping status in the list view of orders the invoice number changes? This does not happen if you click into an order and update the status from the order view.

2) Setting an order as Refunded still does not put the item back on stock

3) When an order is Confirmed the stock level of the product is not reduced

Could you please help?

Many thanks.

Hello,

We will need these elements to better understand your issue your Order Statuses listing screenshot (take good care to show us everything) in System => Order Statuses.

We suspect a bad configuration of your different order statuses.
Awaiting your returns.

Regards

HI,

Yes I noticed the invoice being ticked for shipping - I have turned that off. The stock is that to do with cancelled and capture?

Many thanks.

Hi,

Can you check how the "Update the product stock on confirmed status" setting is configured in the main HikaShop configuration page ?
If the setting is turned off, then the stock will be reduced directly when the order is created.
And with that setting turned on, the stock will be reduced when the order status changes to one of the statuses enabled under the "invoice" column of the System>Order statuses menu.

And I think you want the "shipped" status to be enabled under the "invoice" column so that when an order goes from shipped to refunded, the stock is given back.

Regarding the invoice number changing when the order status is changed, I've never heard of this being a thing. And I don't see how it's possible looking at the code. Could you please double check ? One way I could see it happening would be if there was a mass action configured specifically to do that.

Hi,

"And I think you want the "shipped" status to be enabled under the "invoice" column so that when an order goes from shipped to refunded, the stock is given back."

The issue with that it that when that is enabled the invoice number changes when "shipped" is changed on the order status (just on the order browse page) - not on the main order page. Yes I have checked this a good few times.

Update the product stock on confirmed status = ON

Stock issue remains, no stock is being depleted on order confirmed (yes the order is set to confirmed by the payment gateway worldpay) and also refunded state doesn't put stock back.

Hi,

I checked the situation on your website but I couldn't figure out what's wrong.
Could you also provide a FTP access so that we can investigate further ?

Hi,

Thank you. We were able to find the issue and added a patch for it. It's now working on your website.
We've also included the patch on our end. So anyone else with the issue can download the install package of the 4.7.4 on our website and install it on yours to get the patch.

Sorry, we have noticed another issue. The email history is no longer working? The email history plugin is enabled? Any ideas please?

Hi,

What do you mean by "The email history is no longer working" ? Do you get an error message when you access the Customers>Emails history menu ?
Or you don't see that menu anymore ?
Or you see it but completely empty ?
Or you see it with old emails but not new ones ?
Could you maybe provide some screenshots to illustrate the situation ? And one of the settings of the email history plugin ?

Hi,

That's strange. I don't see a way this could happen.
Normally, if you click on the "preview" button of an email in System>Emails and get a preview of an email, you should then see it in the email history. If that doesn't happen and the email history plugin is enabled, then you should see an error message in the popup.

Also, it might be that you have some filters or ordering set in the email history listing and you don't see the new emails because of that. Normally, logging out and back in your backend should fix that.

HI,

Thank you for your suggestions.

I truncated the email_log table - or should I delete it totally? Truncating it didn't work.

There are no filters etc and preview did not show any errors? Plugin is enabled yes.

Many thanks.

Hi,

If you just truncate it, the plugin will still try to add emails to it, but if there is a problem with the structure of the table (for some reason, after the table has been migrated from one website to another), it will still fail, like before.
You can delete it completely. That way, the plugin will add it back automatically with the correct specs and it should then hopefully work.
