Are there any plans to possibly integrate with Square as a payment processor (squareup.com)?

Hi,

From what I can see in their website, Square is a "point of sale" payment processor for cashier, not an ecommerce payment solution.
Are you sure that you can use it with an ecommerce solution for online payments ?

I think Square offers both. They compete with payment processors like Stripe and PayPal. It looks like they offer integration with other e-commerce platforms like Ecwid, BigCommerce and Weebly.

Please note that we already have 65 waiting payment methods, so if you need this payment method quickly we invite you to post a request in the commercial jobs section of this forum, or ask to a third developer.

Hi,

What is the current status/standing regarding the Square Payment Method?
Has this been done, or is it still on a waiting list, and if so, roughly when will it be taken up?
