Strange thing about URL creation

-- url of the page with the problem -- : www.tiendamat.com
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.5.1

Hi all,

I'm working on my SEO to get a good pagerank, but I found out a problem. Normally, the products, comes as this URL:

www.tiendamat.com/categoryname/subcatego.../product/productname





The problem comes with certain products that the URL changes and I can't find out why. The URL becomes like this:

www.tiendamat.com/ hikashop-menu-for-categories-listing/product/productname




I ican't find out why this is happening, since the products that happens are totally randome. Any idea on how to fix this?

Hi,

It means that you must have a module configured with the "menu" option set to the menu item with the name "HikaShop menu for categories listing". So the links on that module will be generated with that menu item alias.
If you don't want that, you need to fill the "canonical URL" field of your products with the link you would normally get on the sub category menu item.
