products no longer appear after an update

-- Joomla version -- : 3.8.10
-- PHP version -- : 7.1.19
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome 67.0.3396.99 (64 bits)

HI

After some update (can't say which one) the products no longer appear in the catalog.
BUT this has nothing to do with some overrides. Even if I change the general template (hence without any hikashop overrrides) the isue remain.

What should I check please ?

thanks but in our case

www.aerolithe.fr/fr/boutique-pilote/acce...categorie/157-cirrus doesn't display any product while there ARE products in this category and the issue happened after some updates

all the info in this thread refered to a fix for the 3.4.0 release while we are now using the 3.5.0

Hello,

The issue is related to Joomla 3.8.9/3.8.10 ; and the thread is talking about patches which need to be applied in some views and in some views.
We release HikaShop 3.4.1 in order to provides theses patches and some time after, we release HikaShop 3.5.0 with the features that we were working on.

Now your issue is the same problem described in the pined thread ; so it is an issue with the modification of the Joomla core regarding how the "params" are handled.
You have to check that the patches listed in the thread I gave you, are right applied in your website.
Best is to use a FTP access to verify manually the files and see if the modifications are right there. You can also use your backend access to check if you have overrides or not, but for what you're describing, you already test to change the template (but checking the folders could be safer)

If the parameters are not read correctly in the view, there is no possibility for HikaShop to display the products, since it cannot access to the parameters and know what it need to display.

Hi

As I wrote before:

* all the 4 patches are applied in the 3.5.0 version. We manually checked all the concerned files
* we updated the category override and even tested with another template with no override at all
* there ARE published products in the categories such as www.aerolithe.fr/fr/boutique-pilote/acce...categorie/157-cirrus but they don't show up

It seems we checked all what is written in the aforementioned thread but as some of other guys it was not enough

You gave backend access ; but with these accesses we cannot check the FTP files.
Please perform theses checks and then we could start to investigate in our side.

Please understand that you are the only user who have the issue after the update ; so the only solution that we can think about right now is that you have some files which are not up to date.

Hi,

As expected, there was a template override for the file templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_hikashop/category/listing.php on your website. I renamed the file and now I get the products on the link you gave:

So the issue was exactly what was described by Jerome on the other thread. It's too bad you didn't check. You coudl have saved yourself 2 days of waiting.
