Cannot Move Products

All of a sudden I cannot move products up and down in the category...I am not sure why, was working, then suddenly not working, cannot shift their order...any ideas? I am logged out of the front end, only in the back end, tryed loging in and out, but still not working

What do you mean you cannot order them ? you don't see the ordering column ? or when you click on the ordering buttons it doesn't do nothing ?

Which action does not work ? the up and down buttons ? or changing the numbers and then clicking on the save button at the top of the column ?

Ok, in the file administrator/components/com_hikashop/controllers/product.php near line 100, if you change the code

$this->groupVal = $app->getUserStateFromRequest( HIKASHOP_COMPONENT.'.product.filter_id','filter_id',0,'string');
by the code
$this->groupVal = JRequest::getVar('filter_id',0);
does it work ?

Could you activate the debug mode of joomla in the config, try again and copy/paste here (or in an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ) the whole debug report printed below the interface after you click on an ordering button ?

Activated, clicked on order button, did not display any report at all...still does not allow me to move or change numbers and move the order.

Since we cannot reproduce the problem on our test website, we would need access to your website back end and an FTP access in order to be able to put traces in the code. Would that be possible ?

My admin was not comfortable with that, and I think that if I cannot get access or fix it, then I am just going to leave it unordered, because it is going to take too long to order them all by alphabetical. I dont know what happened, but it is not the first time, sometimes i cannot shift buttons in my Joomla menus either.
