Hello,

I'm new to Hikashop and have installed it on one customers site.

I'm not able to add products to the cart? When I click "Add to Cart" it looks like it processes the instruction then it goes back to the main category screen with a message at the top saying "The cart is empty"?

Can you please help?

Regards,
Andy

Hi,

What is the value you set for the option "After a product is added to the cart" in the config under the tab display ?

Could you provide the URL of your website so that we can see the error ?

Please update to the latest version of HikaShop. We fixed some issues on the "add to cart" button.

There is indeed a 500 error on some of the pages but some still work: www.greenpigecostore.com/index.php?optio...ategory&task=listing

You should activate the debug mode of joomla in the configuration of joomla so that we can see the error message. Otherwise, there is no information to tell you what's the problem.

That doesn't display any error on your website. Please make sure that your PHP configuration enables you to see errors and if not, edit your php.ini file and search for the string parameter display_errors.
This parameter should be turned On : display_errors = On.
If it's not the case, please edit your php.ini file, modify this line, save your file and then restart your server. You should not see a blank screen anymore and the error message will help us a lot to fix the problem.

looking in the root directory of my server I do not have a php.ini but a php5.ini?

No mention in this file of above.

Then try to edit this one.

php.ini files edition greatly depends on how your hosting company configured their servers. You should seek advice to them if you have questions on how to activate the debug mode.

The HikaShop page I gave you displays fine, so it highly possible that it's not directly related to HikaShop but a module or plugin you use. you could try to deactivate them one by one in order to isolate which one is causing the problem.

I've deleted Hikashop but elements are still showing within plugins on the backend, how do I delete them?

Once clear I will test

You can delete plugins and modules via the Extensions->Install/Uninstall screen.
