Hikashop multilingual tutorial?

Hello,

We try to make the webshop multilingual. We have made two main categories, Dutch and English. Each categorie has 4 subcategories. We are unable to select the english main categorie. It keeps going back to the dutch main categorie. We see the flags now and filled in the two languages. Switching to english keeps the categories on dutch. What goes wrong?

Is there a good tutorial to make Hikashop multilingual?

Hi,

Did you configure all your languages as content languages ? This can be done in the menu Extensions>Languages manager of Joomla, under the "content languages" section.
The translations of languages not listed in the "content languages" section of Joomla won't be taken into account by Joomla or Falang for the translations display on the frontend of your website.
