redirection to main category after language change

-- url of the page with the problem -- : www.torbolesails.com
-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.5
-- PHP version -- : 7.0.26

hello,

when i change the language, hikashop always redirects to the main category but i want that it stays on the acutual page when switching to another language. how can i do that?

Hi,

HikaShop doesn't do any redirect when you change the language.
It's the module which handles the language which does that.
If you use the Falang language switcher, it's supposed to leave you on the same page, but not if you use Joomla's. So please check that you're using that language switcher and not Joomla's.
If that's the case, and you have that problem with Falang's language switcher module then you want to contact the support of Falang so that they can help you.
