alternative to falang

the php version of my web hosting is too old ( 5.5.33 )
then how can I manage to have translation of categories and products
I don't want to have to make new trees etc
any extension that work as well as falang ? ( I couldn't find if joomfish was ok )
I am using joomla 3.8.6

JoomFish is not being worked on anymore so that's not a solution.

I don't know of an alternative to Falang for that, besides duplicating your products/categories/etc.
So I would still recommend Falang, and update your PHP version if it can't work with it.

thanks for reply , the problem is that my web hosting , nfrance, is maximum at php 5.5.33 and doesn't want to give a date for new php version . I have so much problems with their incompetent support , available only 4 days a week ! .
Conclusion is that I will change to probably ovh ( any other web hosting to advice ?)

We do also use OVH (it's been 10 years) and are quite satisfied with their services.
