Associate HS product with Pack Serial at importing was created by adesjohnson

Hello:

I need to associate some 600 HS products with packs of serials. It would be very tiring to do this manually, is there a way to do this using the Import Products option (Products - Import)?

Hi,

The best solution is to implement the feature directly in HikaSerial, in his import system.
Which information would be use for products and packs ?
Do you want to use the product_id or the product_code ?
Do you want to use the pack_id or the pack_name ?

O.K. Good.

Around 600 HS products associated to some packs (containing unique numbers NOT generated but imported).
"Do you want to use the product_id or the product_code?"
I would prefer product_code.
"Do you want to use the pack_id or the pack_name ?"
I would prefer pack_name.

Hi,

I am working on it, it would be add in the next release of HikaSerial.
So it would be possible to import "product pack" associations and set the quantity.
A quantity of "0" would remove the association from the database.

Hi,

The import system is now finished and tested.
You can import a CSV with this format:

Code:

pack_name,product_code,pack_quantity
"License Pack 1","product_001",1
"License Pack 1","product_002",2
"License Pack 2","product_003",1
"License Pack 3","product_004",1

pack_name and pack_id are supported.
product_code and product_id are supported.
pack_quantity is optional, if not set the value 1 would be used. You can use the value "0" to delete an association.

I am building the new release.

Thanks !
I have just made a little update for the plugin "coupon generator". The "dynamic value" works better now.
You can specify a percentage and the coupon value would be the percentage of the associated product. So it would be easier to create coupons without creating a lot of coupon templates.
